Lined up with Steve P, Steve N and Anthony forming a 3 man defence, Alex in midfield and Chris M up front. Alex is quality player with a great first touch and awareness and exceptionally quick feet. He linked well between attack and defence and he and Chris M were a constant threat. Chris M had another great game, always looking for space, holds the ball up well and imposes himself on the game more and more each week. The defence was very solid, both defending and going forward, Aim did not have a single decent chance in the first half. Anthony had a great game and was involved in many of the build ups. Found lots of space and used it well linking with Alex and Chris. Defensively strong, on one occasion out muscling their attacker to the ball when it broke free on the edge of our box. A goal each for Chris and Alex and we were 2 0 up at half time.
Second half Clive came on for Anthony and picked up where Anthony left off seeing lots of the ball and a few times almost getting into positions to score. They had a five minute spell where they put us under a bit of pressure without ever looking like scoring and we always looked like we might add to our tally. Barry did not have much to do but did it well and, as usual, his distribution is spot on.
A great team performance and yet another victory when Bungle is away!
