Here goes – Sorry its late but affairs of state etc.
Good start to the first half & it was good to see Clive working up a sweat on the left side. Pretty even stevens at the start and we probably should have been in front after the first 15 mins of the first half with a few good chances created, we lacked a clinical edge in that period and paid the price for it. They sat deep and as we pushed & they grabbed a well taken goal, for the rest of that half they were very effective on the break and but for some heroics by Longballdi could have had a couple more.
Second half & a goal down saw the muppet Boss Hogg make some changes putting Trumpton to centre back, Bungle came on replacing Shaggy to play off Longbaldi who was pushed up front. This had an immediate effect as Bungle still smarting from starting on the bench scored a great goal. However we remained exposed and they caught us regularly on the break and from one of these they scored their second goal. We also had a number of chances but with time passing along with a number of chances Boss Hogg threw Shaggy on as an attacking left back to replace a tiring ABBA. It wasn’t to be, there were many good individual points but we suffered at the hands of a very quick team who are probably the fittest we have played.
