Oh dear.
One of those games on a wet evening where we dominated play but failed to score. They set their stall out to defend from the start and during the first half we could have scored several as the play was reasonably open and we carved out a number of openings.
As the second half started they played deeper, seeing the chance to hang on for the 0-0 and had 3 across the box the whole time. We pushed on but the compressed play made it difficult to get any clear chances, though again we could have scored several. With 3 minutes to go the ball rebounded luckily to one of their guys who had a speculative shot from 20 yards which took a deflection past Barry to give them an undeserved victory.
One of those games.
