We actually played quite well. We didn't create a massive number of opportunities, but at least as many as they did. They scored after about 15 seconds, with a long punt upfield which their forward latched onto with a great controlleed volley finish. We kept them at bay rest of the half. We started getting more traction into the second half but they scored slightly against the run of play. Almost immediately Mike planted a great shot into the net. In the dying minutes Alex rounded 2 defenders, drew the keeper but hit the bar with the sot. They went down the other end and scored their 3rd to seal the game. 2-2 wouldn't have flattered us.
