It was the opening game of the season, the Knights had lost 3-0 in the previous week but there were positive signs. This match was against Phoenix Fire. After being switched off at the kick off they were quickly punished when the Knights lost the ball and there was nobody to cover and they finished well into the corner. But after playing the best football the Knights found themselves 2-0 down with 10 minutes played. So they had to find goals from somewhere and Alex struck 2 neat shots in quick succession which got them back on level terms. After half time again the Knights started poorly and lost a third goal so they needed to come back again but they lost a fourth goal with 5 minutes remaining so they needed to pull off a great comeback we thought the comeback was on when George placed a volley in from a corner but the ref thought that he was inside the box so it clearly wasnt their day. They played well but just lacked in finishing their chances.
