We needed a win because of the prospect of taking second place if the alderholt/Poppies result went our way.
George opened the scoring within a couple of minutes of the start, with Chris adding to the tally shortly after. We were dominant in the first half, everyone was putting in  a massive effort. Alex scored the third with the pick of the goals, turning the defenders inside and out several times before smashing it into the top corner. Jack added to the tally to take us 4-0 at half time.
We were a bit sloppy after the break and but for some great saves from Ed we could have lost a couple of goals. Chris scored after a defensive mixup and Jack completed the scoring. Alex could have had a hatful but for hitting the post a couple of times (are the new goals a bit narrower?) and saves from the keeper.
A good win, but unfortunately not enough to take us into 2nd place since Alderholt beat Poppies
