On the occasion of Steve P's 100th appearance he capped a fine team performance with 2 goals to add to Alex's 4. The team started off the game very well, keeping the ball and playing it quickly leaving the other Knights chasing shadows. As they were drawn out it left room for Alex to run onto a throughball and clip neatly past the keeper. 2 more in similar style took us to 3-0, all from alex. The second half started in the same manner, with Gary collecting well and laying on chances for Chris M and Steve P. Several could have gone in, with Chris ending a fine move by hitting the post. Goalscoring was restored again by Alex finishing a team move by smashing the ball into the top corner. Steve P followed up shortly with another goal and made it 6 near the end.

Clean sheet for once as well. Very good movement considering the heat as well. We moved the ball well and it could have been double figures if they didn't have their temp goalkeeper between the sticks.
