It was a good game where we were combative and effective at stopping them greating chances, while creating a few of our own. The difference was in the superb finishing of one of their strikers who fired 2 shots right in the corner giving Barry no chance. The first was unlucky where a parried shot went straight to their player to fire in. The first half they probably shaded but certainly didn't deserve a 3-0 lead.
In the second half we started to assert ourselves with Steve P combative as ever and Shaggy having a great game. Gery and Steve N were keeping their front players pretty quiet on the whole and Sam giving their excellent central defender something to think about.
Shaggy rounded his performance off with a superb goal, picking the ball up just inside their half and driving forward, ending with a cracking shot low in the corner. They scored a fourth somewhat against the run of the second half play.
Overall a fine performance.
