Phil Babb are a young capable team who will compete to win this league.  We played very well first half and whilst they had the majority of possession the chances were pretty even.  0-0 at half time.  As the second half went on their youth began to tell and they did start to create more chances and about 10 minutes in they took the lead with a well worked goal.  We were still very much in the game until they scored a second while we were clearing another ball off the pitch. A few minutes later and it happened again.
Not a bad performance against a very good side.  Mark made a very solid debut and as the game wore on we all took turns to be centre forward.  Gary had the best chance of the game but failed to really test their keeper – ‘at least it was on target’ said Gary, well, yes,but….

Intersting sounding game.
I'm targeting a comeback in the new year, looking increasingly unlikely before then.
