An interesting game where we tried a new formation with Gary and Chris M in the middle, Stops up front and Chris H and Steve N at the back.
In the first half we played quite well but with neither side really threatening much. They scored a well taken goal a few minutes before half time and enjoyed the bulk of possession up to half time.
We pushed forward a little more in the second half and the game opened up, with both sides have some clear chances. They had a number of 1 on 1's with Clive making a couple of good saves at the near post to keep us in the game. Stops had a great shot which hit the bar and bounced down onto the line. With 2 minutes to go Chris M made a great run from the half way line, interchanging with Chris H to score a terrific goal which we deserved.
