Great game, well played everyone.
We should have been 4 up by half time, Alex showing fantastic skills to get into scoring positions but foiled by their goalie, hitting the post and also creating opportunities for others. We really dominated the first half, Chris and George keeping their threats quiet, Mike, Alex and Dave always providing a threat. Alex scored a nice goal, followed by a superb break initiated by Tom's kick out to Alex who controlled it well and passed to George slotting the ball in with aplomb. They grabbed one back against the run of play with a really good strike.
The second half was much more evenly balanced and although we had chances, so did they. Tom had a great game in goal, tipping over a fierce shot, coming out to smother a loose ball and saving with his feet to keep the lead. In the end we were hanging on a bit, but we got there and ensured another league title.
