This was a strange game, and the score in no way reflected the play. We had plenty of possession and in the first half had more shots on target than they did. The difference between the teams was the finishing - they had 2 players who can score out of nothing. It's no exaggeration to say that in the first half they scored with every shot they had, each one leaving Ed with no chance. We played some good football and created a few chances but went in at half time 3-0 down. Again in the 2nd half we kept and passed reasonably well but they scored twice more. George put away a trademark blaster and Ashley unluckily hit the inside of the post before they hit a 6th just before the end.
