We started off brightly and probably should have been 3 up 10 minutes in. First Alex rounded a number of players and chipped the keeper only to see the shot rebound off the bar. Then he teed up Chris who saw his shot crash off the post. Alex capitalised on a defensive mistake and this time left the keeper with no chance. They came more into the game without really threatening, but scored a goal just before half time with a long range toe-poke.
They started the second half better and it required Ed to make some good saves before they made it 2-1. As we pressed for an equaliser they broke in numbers and scored with a couple of minutes to go.
