We set out in a 3-1-1 formation with the intention to frustrate them by allowing them no space in our half. The plan worked pretty well, going in at half time 0-0 they didn't have a single clear shot on goal, though we didn't get mant opportunities either.
In the second half they pressed a bit higher which also gave us some space in behind their defence. Josh had a heavily deflected shot which deceived their keeper to take us 1-0 up. He nearly scored the goal of the season a bit later, taking a shot on the volley over his shoulder à la David Platt. They pressed even higher with more urgency and scored with a double deflection from long range. George did some sterling work in the midfield to close the space through the middle, and Chris, Gary and Steve ensured shots were kept from distance. Barry made some good saves and since the equaliser they seemd to think it was a matter of time before they scored the winner, but left even more space at the back. With 2 minutes to go a ball was chipped out of defence and Josh ran through  behind the defence and finished nicely. They were rattled and had a man sent off as they became more frustrated.
