A good game of football spoiled by bizarre refereeing; the throw ins appeared to be randomly awarded. Actually if they had been randomly awarded more of them would have been correct. Anyway, Inter started well and had a lot of the play in the first few minutes which was rewarded with a goal. We came back into it though didn't create that much. A long pass over the top by Steve was rewarded by a fine finish from Chris M. Barry made some decent saves to keep it to 1-1 at half time.
Mitch was helping out in the absence of George and put in a good performance. Josh and Chris M looked lively and the back line of Gary and Steve didnb't look like conceding. Chris H was sent off for 2 minutes (what rule is that?!) during which time they scored. We pushed on a bit more and despite having 2 or 3 1 on 1's failed to take the chances. Only a win next week will seal the title.
