We started well, keeping the ball and closing down their tricky attacking players quickly. Anthony on his season debut did well breaking down their midfield, with George and Steve cleaning up anything which got through. Shaggy played a delightful ball for Chris H to run onto and score a Thierry-Henri-esque curler into the far corner. Shortly after Chris H made it 2-0 with a long range left-footed scorcher into the top corner. Steve played a great long ball over the defence for Shaggy to run onto and he did brilliantly to latch onto it and lob it over the keeper for 3-0. We then started keeping the ball and frustrating them, though they did get a couple of chances, bringing good saves from Barry. Josh chased down a ball into the corner and deceived the keeper by looking to sqare acroos the area before  sliding it past him inside the near post. 4-0 at half time.
The second half was tougher, as expected and they created more, expertly dealt with by Barry. We held our nerve and though not as convincing as the first half we still created chances, one converted by Shaggy ramming a close range shot past the stranded keeper.

Blimey...results went our way last night also. We are top by 3 points, scored more goals than any other team in our league and conceded fewer. GD of +13 and next best is +6????

Well done Knights...good to see the manager in good scoring form.

Funny how the league is only updated when we´re doing well though...a bit like only watching Match of the Day when your team hasn´t lost !

We're top, but still need 3 wins out of 4 for guaranteed promotion. Me & Ant away next week, so Gary & Alex may just scrape into the team.
