A game well played, but rather frustrating at times. We passed the ball round well and crafted many opportunities with some slick play but in the end it was disappointing only to win by one goal. The two Chrises linked well at the front, each creating opportunities for the other and were it not for their goalie making some excellent blocks we could have been four up by half time. As it was Chris M scored a nicely taken goal, which we all thought was going to be the first of many. In the second half we continued to dominate while Gary, Steve and Anthony kept it locked down tightly at the back. Opportunities for Chris M, Steve and Clive were all well saved again by their keeper and Barry (our guest keeper for the day) had to make a couple of sharp saves to keep us in front.
We played well and demonstrated that our passing is getting quicker and crisper.
