A really good game from the Knights against the top team. We had several clear chances, but Chris H's shooting boots were being cleaned that day. The scoring was all done by Alex, who has his best game of the season. We started well and after creating a couple of other good chances a great move through the middle left Alex  to drill the ball under their enormous goalie. We could have had more before half time whilst limiting them to long shots with Gary and Steve holding them at bay at the back. Julian, George and Alex were dominating the middle and Chris H made room for a number of opportunities at the front. A great tip onto the bar by Barry prevented them equalising udeservedly. A corner by Steve on the right bounced through the area and Alex smashed it into the top corner with his left foot. He was then played through again be Chris H, where he turned the defender in and out 3 times before placing the ball into the corner for the hat-trick. A good performance by all.
