We set up with Baz in goal, Steve, George and Chris H across the back and Josh and Chris M up front.  We started well and the longer the game went on the better we got.  We defended really well denying them time and space everywhere on the pitch – they did not really create a clear goal scoring opportunity in the whole game and the efforts they did have were well dealt with by Baz.  We put together some great passing moves and everyone looked comfortable on the ball.  The defence was strong with George at the centre of it and Chris M and Josh were a threat all game long.  They were definitely rattled, but despite having the best opportunities, we failed to convert one to win the game.  It was still 0 -0 after extra time and so on to penalties which they won 2 – 1.
Our performances have been steadily improving in the last few weeks and this was the best all season.

Most certainly the best performance of the season with great shape, communication and effort. No sub seemed to work well for us. No mention of he penalty save though ..... bit of a let down but more importantly no mention of the penalty that blazed four foot over the bar! Luckily I cannot remember who took that absolutely rubbish effort but Chris, I think you need to take them under your wing. They must be absolutely gutted with an effort that poor so if you can remember who it was tell them we all make mistakes. Don't mention that nobody makes mistakes that severe normally apart from Chemical Ally!! Great game!

I can't remember who missed that penalty either, but what a plonker!
Yes it was the best game we've played alll season and we could so easily have nicked it with the chances we had. Well done to everyone, committed performances all round

Try and keep the motivation flowing and go into next game with the same confidence. Excellent passing moves this week guys. A lot more composure on the ball as well.

Nice to hear everyone speaking up and wanting the ball more. Shame we dropped it on the pens, but all in all it felt like a win...
