We started really well, keeping posession and creating a number of scoring opportunities in the first 10 minutes. Josh scored with a delightful finish after some good work from Tom and Steve to create space. They came back into it in the latter stages of the first half and we went through a distinctly dodgy spell. They scored after their attacker was neatly played through with a flick-on from the ref and then again shortly afterwards from an unbelievably narrow angle. Barry made some good stops to prevent further goals.
After half time we regrouped and played better football again, creating a couple of opportunities for Tom and Josh. Barry again made some good saves as they got more space as we pushed on. Gary had a couple of shots coming through from the back and Chris played up more as the clock ticked down. Unfortunately we were unable to make the breakthough and finished 1-2.

Apologies to all for the second goal. Should never have scored from that angle. That said what a fluke!
