We won at a bit of a canter and it could/should have been double figures really. Alex opened the scoring with a cultured finish dummying the keeper and chipping into the other corner. Chris M scored with a deflected shot before doing some great work down the left to roll it across the area leaving Chris H with an easy finish. We had a couple more good opportunities then they scored with a good shot late in the half.
In the second half they tired and we had so much room we could have bagged a hatful. As it was we only scored 3; Alex again sending the keeper the wrong way, Chris H after again being played in by Chris M and Steve Nic from a tight angle. Barry didn't have much to do but dealt with what came his way well and Gary picked off their attacks whenever they threatened.
Bottom line: a welcome result after a poor start, which takes us into 4th place.

Interesting to see that Quasar are bottom of Div 1 and lost 7-1 last night!

Well done all last night, very solid all round performance. Especially well done Gary for playing through what was at least Dengue Fever and Chris M who got into great positions scored a goal and made at least 2 more. Nicely taken goals Steve Nic (did you see my goal? DOOH), Chris H and Alex.
