Fash are a young fit side who made it very difficult in the first half for us to get the ball out of our defence. They man-marked everybody from Barry's roll-outs which gave us little time on the ball. We fashioned a couple of chances in the first half, but they had a period where they had several chances in succession but Barry kept them out with a couple of good stops. As we got more into the game they then scored after a favourable bounce saw the ball fall to the feet of their guy on the edge of the box.
We got a lot more space and much more into the game in the second half but still had few clear opportunities and their keeper showed himself to be very good, especially from a shot by Gary which looked destined to be an equaliser.
One more point to secure 3rd place.
