Like last time we played them (10-1 - http://sk.num61.com/matchdetails.php?fixtureid=441) we took a while to get going and Ed had to make a couple of sharp saves, but Alex started things off with a fine shot into the top corner. Dave completed an excellent team move and George made it 3-0. They scored one just before Dave got a bad knock on the thigh and had to come off. We went into half time at 3-1, though it could have been 8 by then. It was good to se Steve back in the yellow shirt after a long injury absence.
After the break we overran them, Tom and Chris adding goals, Chris executing the miss of the century managing to get the ball to the other end of the hockey pitches from 3 yards out. They managed a raft of goal line clearances when we should have scored and they managed to get another goal somehow. Alex managed to get 2 more goals from 3 inches out to make it 8-2, then another after receiving the ball behind the defence and dinking the ball past the onrushing keeper.
