They put out the strongest team I've seen from them, unfortunately including Baz with the demon left foot. We were struggling to get players (I had intended to take a sub) but Martin kindly stepped in at the last minute ensure we had a full team on the pitch. A slight mix-up early on allowed Baz's left foot to score, but we regrouped well and probably had the better chances in the first half, Chris set up twice by Alex but both chances spurned. They scored again early in the 2nd half which meant we had to come out more, which left space in the middle which they exploited. Some fantastic finishing followed leaving Ed absolutely no chance as we went 4-0 down before Alex scored. They then went 5-1 up before George and Alex ripped upfield and George scored to give us a glimmer of hope. Everyone played well but on the day they were just too strong. It may have been a slightly different game had we put our early chances away so that we didn't have to chase the game.
