Match Report
A very good, well-disciplined performance. We controlled the play from start to finish. Considering the amount of the ball we had, we didn't create a huge number of chances, though they rarely threatened. Most of our chances came in the first 15 minutes although only one was converted by Chris H. During the second half their keeper was tested a few times and proved to be very good. On a rare breakaway they hit the bar with a clever shot, but our domination paid off when Chris M scored from a tight angle late in the game. A much better and more solid performance than previous weeks.

Really good all round preformance, a little flat to start with but porbably more to do with a lack of competitive matches over the past 5 weeks. From the side lines it was good to see that everybody had a good game and special mentions need to go to Clive (ABBA) Freed who felt under the weather but still managed a cracking performance and Barry (God I'm bored & if you wont let me join in I'm not comming to the pub) Hughs who still kept concentration & made2 excellent saves managing only our 2nd clean sheet of the season. Other mentions - both Chris's (Bungle & Zippy) on really well taken goals and a lot of hard graft, Baldie for covering well, tackeling hard, not getting injured & not being quick enough to push up, Steve Nic for covering a lot of ground & keeping his own clean sheet despite it being easier to score & finally Steve (Trumpton) Pugh who, tackled well, worked hard and managed to restrict himself to only a couple of Charge of the Light Brigade moments.
I'm not here next week so good luck & sombody text me the result.
Iain, I've looked at the prozone Stats and both you and Barry both did more running than Gary.....oh and on this subject please refrain from calling him a baldy as he finds this rather personal you pot bellied, ginger haired, haggis smoking , Scot's git, who can only score a goal in a practice match with a deflection !!

Will keep you informed
It was with delight that I saw some very constructive comments about Lombaldi and "The Governor" and I feel both of them have had a "Sense of Humour failure, after all truth hurts! I felt it was a very professional performance on Tues with everybody "gelling together like my hair". What with that and the fact that the banter is superb makes me realise that I would like to ask whether the manager would consider an extension to my contract? I must go now as I have fires to put out and my helmet to polish, regards Steve "Trumpton" Pugh.
