The game was there for the taking and we got off to a blistering start with Dave slotting the ball into the corner within the first minute. We deservedly doubled the lead when George forced a way through and smashed in a short. We made it 3-0 when Dave again finished a flowing move. They grabbed a goal just before half time.
We were raiding their goal a number of times and probably should have added a couple more goals, but they got the next one to make it a tense last 5 minutes. They snatched a point right at the death when they robbed our back line.
This is a game we really should have won.
