The game started well and we pressurised them in their half for much of the game. They held on for a while, despite our having a number of chances and shots. Chris M broke the deadlock and although it looked like it may open the flodgates we went in only 1-0 at half time.
After the break Chris H scored with a slightly scuffed shot to make it 2-0, quickly followed by goals from Chris M and Alex. Ed was brought into action with a couple of long range efforts, but nothing to trouble our own Gordon Banks too much. George stopped kneeing their forward up the arse just long enough to supply Chris M with 2 more chances which he took to complete his 4-goal haul. Mike, Alex and Chris H all went close and Ant also hit a rocket just over. A satisfying result and the score was about right.
