We outplayed them throughout the match but couldn't score! We had already had several shots, when they scored with literally their first foray into our half. It was struck well leaving Ed with no chance. We continued to press as they sat on the lead and we spurned a number of good chances. Again against the run of play they had a shot which sneaked in. Chris M had a shot blocked, which Ashley tucked away neatly but despite more opportunities and hitting the post we couldn't draw level. Disappointing result.

Great effort put in this week, yes the result was disappointing but the performance warranted credit. We kept on fighting and if it we hadn’t left our shooting boots at home we would have won comfortably. We played some very neat football and the second half was one way traffic. This should have been an easy win following our string of results, but wasn’t to be.
