With an experimental formation: Gary up front, Chris M & George at the back we played pretty well and probably should have won convincingly. We started well, though some passes were a bit heavy. Alex provided a good outlet, linking play effectively and Gary held the ball up nicely when played nito his feet. A good move played out from the back, to Alex who spread it wide to Chris H who layed it across to Gary to side-foot into the top corner gave us a platform to build. They equalised almost immediately somewhat against the run of play when we were slack at marking. Chris H spurned a couple of excellent chances before George smashed in his trademark screamer before they again grabbed a goal just before the break. We carried on applying pressure and Alex was unlucky, hitting the inside of the post. In the second half they were basically just hanging on as we applied pressure all over the pitch, but just couldn't break through.
