We played well in the first half and went in 4-0 up. Chris H scored the first goal with a poorly hit shot which squirmed under the keeper. Chris M was unlucky to hit the post, but followed with a goal which hit the keeper but still bounced in. Anthony scored with a nice left-footed shot and Clive hit a clean goal just before half time. Steve N was unlucky with a fierce strike hitting the post. Chris M almost made it 5 with a lobbed shot over the keeper, but one of their defenders went into the area to prevent the goal. Unfortunately Gary hit the resulting penalty marginally wide with the keeper going the wrong way.
The second half was a different story. They marked tighter and we lost our shape. They had most of the pressure but only scored fairly late in the half. A rare break close to the end was put away by Chris H to complete the scoring.
