I've seen more organised displays by the Keystone Cops, but we won. Luckily the opposition were not good and we made the most of our opportunities.
We had a couple of new players, Jon and Julian, so it was not too surprising that it was less disciplined than usual. We let Allstars have too much space and they had a number of opportunities but Barry made some outstanding stops to keep our lead.
In the first half Chris M played Jon through, who did really well to hold off the defender a slot past the keeper.
The second half was a little better though some of out players were getting tired we made better use of the ball and kept it more. Jon scored again on a breakaway to take us to 2-0.
A scrappy game but at least we won.

Whoever wrote this report wouldn't get on the BBC....just for the record (some should be kept for assists) Longbaldie set up both goals !

I agree though that we were all over the shop.

Maybe I wouldn't get on the BBC but I hear there are a couple of vacancies on Sky Sports.

I was going to keep quite about the supposed assist, but Gary had to steel my thunder! Hopefully next week we can field a standard team and get our form correct. We've gone a bit Sam Aladyce recently and used the long ball too much.

I think Sam Allardyce like might have been a compliment, more Saturday mornings Bransgore under sevens. That said the communication was better this week than at any other time in recent memory and we actually told each other when we were out of position. We just need to start acting on that advise now!
