We started brightly and they had only 5 players for the fist 5 minutes. We had a number of chances; a couple of good ones but we failed to capitalise before their 6th man appeared.
We continued to keep them well away from goal with a disciplined performance, restricting them to long range shots and snatched efforts.
Coming out for the second half it continued in much the same way with both sides having a small number of half chances. Well into the second half they got a slightly fortunate goal where a clearance deflected of their player creating an easy chance for a goal. We pushed harder but to no avail and they scored a second with a few seconds to go.

A very good performance from everyone I thought. George again was a rock at the back, reading the game well and picking his moments well to support. Barry pulled some blinding saves again.

The 1st goal I'll take blame for as it was hesitating on the ball for too long. But enough about my performace.

It may be time run through some tactics which involve not getting the ball smashed in the crown jules as both George and Josh fell victim of this.

All in all a good game, just a shame we didn't make more of the first 5 mins. An undeserved win if you ask me.

What made it particularly difficult is that they closed down really quickly and marked us well. Although they didn't have their guy who can penetrate defences they gave us so little time to dwell on the ball.
Yes, great saves from The Cat. I think we need to feed Gary quicker then go up to support. I think Josh can be a key player too but needs to come from a bit deeper, like Steve Pugh used to.
