They came out of the blocks like a whirlwind and we were caught on the back foot. They had a couple of good chances and but for some great work by Barry we could have been 2 goals down before they scored their first. In the end it was a disputed goal, the ball rolling across the area and Anthony was bustled into the area and their guy joined him to poke the ball in. They scored again soon after with a well- worked goal.
We regrouped and started to hold our own.
After half time we even created a couple of chances, with their goalie tipping shots over and round the post. Chris H had another shot which was parried towards the edge of the area, where Neil unceremoneously barged their guy over and calmly slotted the ball in - much like their first.
We could even have levelled, but they scored their third, really well taken by their best player.
Can't dispute the score in the end, but apart from the first 10 minutes we were good value.
