Chaseside this season are a young and fit outfit whose movement will cause a lot of teams problems.  For the first 10 minutes we struggled as they came at us in numbers and at pace.  Despite this we took the lead during this period from a well placed corner by Chris H neatly put away by Ben.  We then conceded 3 quick goals as they seemed to have men over on almost every attack.  As the half wore on we got to grips better with their attack and got one back just before half time with another well taken goal by Ben after using his strength to hold off the defender (that is hold off onto his arse).

2nd half was a much more even affair with both sides creating good chances only to be foiled by equally good goalkeeping on both sides).  With a minute to go Barry took a knock to the head which made a right mess of the pitch – off to the hospital for a bit of gluing.  Down to 5 men we managed to create one more chance but failed to find the target.

Once we settled it was an OK performance against a decent side.  Good to see Chris H get through 40 minutes, massive performance from Chris M who covered every yard of the pitch and Ben looks a greater threat with every game he plays.

Barry – hope the heads better soon.

Cheers Steve. Glued up and a mild concussion with whiplash. More importantly I can't believe we lost. Second half was great although I can't remember the last bit.

We're setting up a fund for our war hereoes. (Barry and James)
