A good game where we outplayed them in the first half, creating a number of chances so we should have gone in at half time better than 1-1. Superb individual goal from Alex.
The second half started similarly except that we put our chances away; a perfect penalty from Steve S and a lovely team effort finished off with aplomb by Chris M to take us to 3-1. They pressed really hard and got a goal back with about 5 mins to go. We were pinned back and a little fortunate as their fierce shot cracked against the post.
Good result, we should have secured it better.

induvidual goal from alex??? what about the pin point 30 yard pass supplied by yours truely. I'll take the assist for that, even though alex decided to take on the player 4 times before shooting.

I love it,just love it....that Chris only updates the table immediately after we win but when we lose it takes a couple of weeks !!

Reckon we should agree to the rota for people to write the commentaries.I suggest that whoever pays should write the report...over to you Stops for next week ! This will get everyone looking at the website.

Although we've not started particularly well we have still managed to attain mid-table. Let's push on now but make sure we "kill a game off" and not give the ball away when we are ahead (comfortably). We do it far to often for there to be any coincidence.

shaggy, the great awareness and the 30 yard pinpoint pass just over the defenders head, with just the right weight on it to fall into my path was distinctly average in my opinion...it was the 1000 degree turn that made it!

was just a little upset there was no recognition thats all. A 'good pass' wouldn't have gone un welcomed.
