This was a good game of football and very competitive without there being a huge number of chances for either side.
They looked the better side in the first half; we started slightly nervously but kept them well away from goal with great industry particularly from Steve P who bossed the central position. They scored with a well taken goal which gave Barry little chance, though it was an individual piece of skill as their guy wriggled through several playrs rather than any teamwork.
We shifted from a 3-1-1 to a 2-2-1  and in the second half we looked the stronger team. Steve S scored a well taken goal, turning on a bouncing ball to drive it into the corner having also hit the outside of the post in the first half.
Overall a fair result which we were more pleased with than them.
