A solid performance against well organised hard working opposition.  We were the better side throughout but it was hard work on a very slippy pitch.  Rob opened the scoring with a great solo effort, they then equalised with a well taken breakaway goal.  We went 2-1 up with a very neatly worked goal finished off by Steve Nic and wrapped the game up with a cool finish from Chris M after a great pass from Gary.

We controlled the middle of the park with Steve P seemingly everywhere – certainly looking match fit again.  Good performance from Barry – nothing he could do with the goal, other than that never looked like getting beat.

Highlight of the game – Rob’s shot from 2 yards outside the box which went out for a throw!
